Could a person having "night terrors" find relief?

Warning: content may be disturbing

I am a retired pediatrician. In mid-September 2024, I tried the Varichrome Relaxation Mask because I had a half a dozen night terrors related to the untimely death of my younger sister in March 2024. My repetitive dreams were about being attacked on the street by horrid looking people with knives, causing me to bleed profusely.Though I was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2018 and night terrors are a known complication, I had never had night terrors before.

The Varichrome Relaxation Mask delivers low-contrast varying wavelengths letting my brain experience all
the visible wavelengths with different colors a few at a time. In using the mask with the simple press of a button I could regulate the colors that I was seeing. I started by recalling blood and knives while looking at red  through the mask for only a few seconds. Then  pressing  the button again, I shifted the mask to deliver yellow while I thought about an abstract wall mural that was neither disturbing nor pleasing. After a few seconds more I pressed  the button once again to deliver blue green while I thought about a group dance class that I was taking with fun, wonderful community based people.  Then, over 20-30minutes, I kept on randomly changing the colors and the paired images I was seeing among yellow/wall mural, red/blood and knives and blue green/dancing.

Though I do not understand why the Varichrome Relaxation Mask worked, I have had a miraculous result. Since using it once 4 months ago, the night terrors have completely disappeared! I am now sleeping longer and am much more relaxed while sleeping.  My better sleep has resulted in more energy when I wake up for socializing with family and friends, for fun activities, for completing daily tasks and for enabling me to do more daily cross training exercises that involve building strength, stamina and flexibility.
